Vegetarian-Friendly Food in Lisbon: Yes, You Can Join a Traditional Portuguese Food Tour!

Nadine Braehmer • September 15, 2025

Many travelers think Portuguese cuisine is all about fish and meat — sardines, pork, and chouriço. But Lisbon is also full of vegetarian-friendly options that are just as authentic.

On our Lisbon Food Tour, guide Juan makes sure every guest enjoys the experience, whether vegetarian or not. While others taste sardines and bifana, you might try:

  • Vegetarian bifana with grilled vegetables
  • Hearty bean stews and fresh salads
  • Bread, cheese, and olive oil tastings
  • Traditional Portuguese desserts like pastéis

Our tours run daily at 9:30, 12:00, 15:00 and 18:00, in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. Groups are limited to 10 people for an intimate, authentic experience.
